President Johnson, KCØUTW, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm with 20 members and one visitor present.
Introductions were made all around;

Old business
Mac, K4CHS, reported that CMRA is scheduled for field day at Rock Bridge State Park.
Country Kitchen will prepare some food for field day.
Auction items, please call Pam, KDØGRQ. More items are needed; please do not leave it all to her. Letters are available to give to donor; please see Bob KØYBN, or Pam, KDØGRQ. Care must be taken that we do not misrepresent CMRA; we are not a 501(c)(3) organization which allows tax-deductible
Fox Hunt is scheduled for this Saturday according to Jon, NØOFJ.
Mike, ACØG, reported on upcoming program topics.

October - Tom Ciolino, KØTJC, Radio and Rocketry
November and December are open.
Balloon launch – Dave, KVØS, reported that the Columbia Daily Tribune had an article on balloon launch by a group of students; the balloon flew from here to Herman; they had a gps tracker and light sticks on it for aid in locating it after dark. He has been contacted by some Chicago Hams about balloon launches. They want to measure CO2 over Chicago.
Earthquake drill SEMA has decided that they want some Ham radio VHF and HF assistance in addition to coming down to SEMA on Tuesday, May 17 (Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday if possible). Details have not all been fully developed. Don, KMØR, wants BCARES representation at Boone County probably on Monday or Tuesday morning. Corey, KCØYNS, Mac, K4CHS, Mike, ACØG and Dale, AEØS volunteered to participate as CMRA’s representatives.
Central MO Emergency Net on Thursday; meets at 146.61 mHz at 8:00 pm.
