Re: ISS SSTV on the air

Not entirely sure Bill. I will see if I can find out. I’m guessing they are “off” shift at that time and won’t be operating.

John, The link shows times that are confusing... What does the "Off" there mean? Dec 4: On - 12:00 UTC, Off - 16:50 UTC
Thanks, bill N0AXZ

Re: NanoVNA
Chris Swisher
This presentation was posted in the Facebook group for the NanoVNA. It does a great job of explaining the abilities and limitations on using the device evaluating common mode chokes as well.

Corey I am also thankful for the many friends I would never have
met without ham radio, CMRA and BCARES. Too many SK's gone but not

On my list of things for which I’m thankful, The great friends I’ve gotten to know while being part of the Amateur radio clubs in Columbia. Wanted to wish all my friends, Happy Thanksgiving. Also want to take the time to remember those club members who are now SK. Have a great holiday , Corey. Kc0yns

Ham Community of Columbia,
Susan and I were in St. Louis for a concert at the Fox Theater, so I took advantage of checking out the new location of Gateway Electronics. Their location is Store #140 in the Chesterfield Mall. It is now about 25 minutes closer to those of us in Columbia, MO, than it was at it's old location. The Chesterfield Mall is dying, so I don't know how long they will make it. I am in the process of building a small amplifier for my UltraPicoKeyer. I have all parts ordered from eBay, but some of the parts won't arrive until January of next year, so stay tuned. 73 Tim W0TES

December Christmas Plans
AD0UK
Ladies and Gentlemen, This year for the Christmas party there was a vote of the members present at the October meeting and HyVee was not chosen as the place of our festivities. This year we attempted to find another place - Pam so kindly called around for us and the only place we could find on short notice was
Olive Garden on Dec 10 @7 pm. We will be ordering off the men, there is no room fee and we have a section for up to 50 people - we are supposed to be the only ones in that section. Please be aware of this change in the Party and hope those who can make it will come out. It has also been put on the agenda to discuss this at future meetings, earlier than we did this year and decide where we want to go next year, and start making arrangements earlier next year. 73 Brian AD0UK
