Re: A Suggested VE Test Session in the Age of COVID-19
Looks good! Corey has a point. For example, car keys and cell phone/electronic devices on the dashboard, only 1 person per vehicle, etc.

My idea is that the runner and VEs can patrol during the exam.

John, WOW that’s a lot of work. Hopefully it’ll only be necessary for a couple sessions. Making passengers take a walk keeps the person testing from getting answers, How are you going to keep

A Suggested VE Test Session in the Age of COVID-19
Hello all,
Give this a read and tell me what you think. It will take some teamwork to pull off, but I think we are capable of doing this.

Re: I am interested in testing, KE0ZZA
James,
Thanks for the offer, I will discuss it with the board/officers - this sounds like a good interim fix and could prove to be an avenue to utilize until we can find a more permanent solution.

So Brain AD0UK, I eavesdropped on a conversation about testing possibly doing it outside with tables in a parking lot or have folks stay in their car as an option. I attend the Salvation Army

James,
We are still discussing the options for testing - please watch the CMRA website - https://k0si.net/ for any updates on location and timing of testing. We are also wanting to get back to

Re: CMRA Field Day 2020 Discussion Thread
A good discussion is underway, thanks to all for thinking hypothetically and conditionally. We have time to sort options out.
Like John, NO0I, I am strongly inclined to do a stay at home FD. I have

The point of testing is that the positives stay away. Half or more of positives don't know they are, and feel fine.
It's an individual choice, not a policy.

Good points all. I struggled but I think I'm going to operate from home this year. Thanks for spinning up the discussion Chris.

Re: CMRA Field Day 2020 Discussion Thread
Bill has a nice point. How many want to participate? Let's figure out if FD can happen with a plan. If we have a big group, but only three operating stations, how could we schedule operators to keep

Re: CMRA Field Day 2020 Discussion Thread
As I am not sure what the club will do and a big meal is out. My field radio is the FT 817. I have a pop up shelter and a big tent, batteries and a solar pannel.
I am open to what the club wants.

CMRA Field Day 2020 Discussion Thread
I would like to start a on-line discussion of thoughts and dialog on what we can do or want to do for Field Day this year. It is not a normal environment to exercise in (notice I did not say contest),
