My normal setup is a ft-817. Buxcom sound card interface. Dumb cheep sound card. Software TNC, and all the other soundcard modes. Fits in backpack.

I've had success using the bluetooth KISS TNC built into my kenwood
TH-D74 with Windows10 and Android. These radios have gotten overpriced
since they were discontinued so I wouldn't recommend

My laptop is paired with BLuetooth to the Mobilinkd TNC, and shows Connected when Winlink is on. I can see the lights on the TNC blinking as if it is attempting to transmit. I pulled out a

Sign me up Bill! I've got winlink VHF capability in the mobile now so I'm willing to test sending from various locations if that helps. I may be able to do HF portable winlink as well just for fun.

Ok.
The no transmit tells me that there is a problem with the cable. I would suggest to buzz the cable. Make sure the 1/8" 4 way plug, goes to whereit is supposed to go. I have got bad cables from

The radio does not transmit, and I checked with another radio (I have a base, mobile and HT). I tried the volume at all different levels and set the squelch to various levels also. I think I

I had talked to Mobilinkd support multiple times and they kept say in works with the 51A, and they sold a cable for it, and they keep referring me to the manual to insure I set it up

I have a Mobilinkd TNC. Mine is an early model. It does not like Winlink. Is OK for APRS. And for normal packet radio. At least that is what the manufacture told me. He said that the
