Thanks for the practical algorithm, Chris.
Anybody in the club volunteer to slowly fabricate cheap but good bandpass filters and test them before Field Day, June 22-23? Not a difficult project,

Remember the triad: good, fast or cheap, pick any two. Our advantage is we have three months to scrounge parts, and DXE ships overnight. '73

Thanks, Chris! I like this article. Can the club's "makers" fabricate these filters in time for Field Day 2019? The DXE Engineering bandpass filters for 200 watts output cost $130 for each

Hi Chris,
The Bud filter is quite a vintage piece! It's frequency of use was in the narrow VHF spectrum for old TV channels 2-13, .
The Field Day interference I am suggesting we solve is between HF

For those of you that have ever driven Highway 61 north of Hannibal, Lew Gordons' antenna farm was a thing of beauty along the north side. He published this article in QST addressing the same issue.

Band Pass Filter Discussion
I mis-spoke Tuesday (as usual). I have a Bud LF-601 low pass filter. The function of which, when originally sold, was to attenuate spurious harmonics in the television VHF broadcast band (54-216 MHz).

Keep in mind the Anytone charger takes ten or fifteen minutes to decide it wants to charge the battery after you drop it in the cradle. Weird, but that’s what the manual says.

Wes's 2m net problem
Hi
Last Sunday on Wes's 8:00 PM simplex net on 146.440 he was having a great deal of trouble getting out. I went over and we had a look. I think we might have isolated the problem. See attached
