Given the short notice, we must move quickly.  The race is Sunday February 27th.  We will need volunteers to be on station around 1145am and should be done by 330pm or 400pm.

Volunteers need a mobile radio, capable of 25 watts or greater with a gain antenna.  This is a simplex operation.  We’ll also be using APRS.

If you would like to volunteer to work the event, please contact me via email ASAP so I can complete the schedule.  I need at least 10 volunteers for a completely staffed event.

Field Day 2010

Michael James Hauan <ac0g@...>

It's out! The ARRL 2011 Field Day information packet. Perfect for bedtime reading!

Perhaps it's not too early to give some thought to what we will do this year. We have some great gear at the club station that we should use as well as what various individuals can bring. CW, satellite, PSK31, regular voice, sstv, foxhunting, remote control ... so much to do and so little time, so let's develop a plan.

I've attached the ARRL doc here so we can find it easily in our listserver archives, but it's also available online at arrl.org.

Happy full moon!

End of CMRA Digest, Vol 1, Issue 11
***********************************

Froze Toes is this Sunday!

Don Moore <km0r@...>

I apologize for more emails, but I still need a couple of more volunteers for the bike race this Sunday, February 27th.  We will be operating from about 1145am until around 330pm.  The race is usually over by then…  You’ll need a mobile 2 meter radio in your vehicle and an antenna with a little gain to work the event as we run a simplex net.

The operators I have confirmed at this time are:

N0YZS

AE0S

N0AXZ

KE0MI

KM0R

KC0MGG

N0PBM

N0OFJ

N0UBC

KV0S

If you can work the event with us, we’d be glad to have you!  Please send me an email to km0r@... to let me know of your interest in participating.  If you already emailed me and are not on the list above, please email me again as I have missed your original email.

Thanks and 73,

Don M. – KM0R

Hello, all

We are teaching the General license class in the room at the Red Cross building.  I use a scope and some other props for visual aids.  I don't feel like lugging them back and forth, so I am leaving some things in the room until the class is finished.  Let me know if this bothers anyone.

Hi John,

Congradulations on your WAS on 160 meters. I'm not sure we have an awards manager, but Don, KM0R would know.

Hope you all are well. We need to have QCWA meeting soon. As President, let me know when and where and I'll get the word out.

As far as I know we do not have a card checker. The Club does sponsor a
Missouri WAC award and we have issued 3 certificates. I have been the
contact on this award.
