Well Chris, I believe the guys you mentioned are responsible for the transistor and stuff. But I don’t see them in my APRS data. But the guy who is responsible for our APRS seems to be an interesting figure. I met him (Bob Bruninga) at Dayton one year when he was proud of burning up a Prius in an attempt to use the big batteries for emergency power source. Any way see you Saturday morning. Bill

Also, find out if Lee De Forest can make anything useful out of Edisons' light bulb that coated the inside of the glass with carbon. Join us a 8:30 Saturday with a hot cup of coffee.

The talk will be about high speed data networks. Remember HamNet? Ever heard about AREDN? What can you do with it and how much does it cost to get started? Zoom on in and find out: https://umsystem.zoom.
If you are interested in a YouTube primer, try this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch? I met Martin on a AREDN VoIP telephone net this week.

Dewey Bennett WM0H
Bill McFarland - N0AXZ
Group,
Rob Jett, K0YBN, has informed us that Dewey Bennett’s, WM0H, wife has passed away last Thursday. Dewey was a long time member of the club before moving to Bolivar a few years ago. He was CMRA net manager for a very long time, and can still be heard checking into the Missouri traffic net. We wish Dewey and his family peace and mercy at this time. Bill N0AXZ -- Bill
