Winlink 2000 provides a variety of solutions for the Amateur radio operator including VHF/UHF Packet, HF Pactor and Winmor, which come in different bandwidths, reliabilities, and speeds. Winlink 2000 is used a link to family, friends and weather information for the remote Amateur radio operator. In addition,

Winlink 2000 has proven itself as an effective emergency communications options for various non-commercial and government organizations, as well as Amateur radio operators, when normal emergency communications infrastructure is not otherwise available. Attendees will learn what Winlink is, catch up on the latest developments and get a look at some real world Winlink installations as well as some field examples.
