Awesome video, thanks Fred! This video spurred an interesting conversation with my step dad who is a retired electrical engineer and a former navy submariner aboard the USS Grouper in the late 50s and early 60s. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Grouper For comms in his day they would come up to snorkel depth, 56' and float an antenna bouy. 73 Paul KE0IKG
